Group Reformer Class Formats

  • Emphasizes range of motion exercises and different stretching and release techniques to help regain mobility in the joints. Great for athletes that are trying to gain flexibility or newbies looking for a slower paced class. Instructors provide proper modifications for those with injuries and individualize sessions to help each client meet their goals.

    Difficulty: Entry level, great for pilates beginners.

    Benefits: Mobility, Balance, Flexibility

    Pace: Slow + Intentional

  • Our signature class integrating the perfect balance of pilates strengthening exercises and stretching. As with all LSF classes, proper form is emphasized, while maintaining a moderate pace of the class. While still challenging, this low-impact workout delivers a total mind/body experience that bring you to a place of greater flexibility and strength.

    Difficulty: Intermediate.

    Benefits: Low Impact, Total Body, Moderate Pace

    Pace: Fluid + Upbeat

    Class Length: 50 mins

    Props: Magic Circle, Pilates ball

  • An athletic approach to pilates strengthening exercises done on the reformer to help you sculpt and define your arms, legs and core. Resistance, body weight, and spring tension will have your muscles shaking in the name of the change.

    Difficulty: Intermediate / Advanced

    Benefits: Low Impact, Total Body Strength Training

    Pace: Focused, Intentional

    Class Length: 45 mins

    Props: 3-10 lb weights + resistance bands.

  • A safe alternative to cardio, using the Allegro2 Jumpboards and props. Just when you think you need to take a towel break from the jumping, we slow it down with some signature pilates sculpting on the reformer, and when your muscles feel like they just about had it, we switch back to cardio.

    Difficulty: Intermediate / Advanced. Not for pilates beginners.

    Benefits: Low Impact Cardio

    Pace: Upbeat, Energetic, Quick Transitions

    Class Length: 45 mins

    Props: Jump board + pilates ball

  • Golfers need specific mobility in order to avoid injuries and smoke the ball without fatigue. This 50-min class blends the best of Pilates and golf strengthening to improve spine and neck rotation, hip internal and external rotation, and shoulder external rotation. Great for all athletes and levels.

    Difficulty: Beginner to Advanced.

    Benefits: Mobility and Hip Strength

    Pace: Moderate

    Class Length: 50 mins

  • Developed for our 60+ aged clients who are dealing with osteoarthritis, osteopenia, knee, hip, and shoulder weakness. Safe and effective exercises for building strength and promoting balance are taught in a non-competitive setting with props and modifications for everyone.

    Difficulty: Great for all levels age 60+

    Benefits: Balance and Strength

    Pace: Slow and intentional with modifications
